Paper made from unprocessed wood-pulp will become yellow and brittle over time and eventually deteriorate, accelerated by exposure to light, heat, or humidity. Acid-free paper is processed and washed with a mild base to neutralize these acids and ensure the paper and you work will be preserved for years to come.
Using an archival-quality, pigment-based ink will further improve the stability and life of your paper and work. We recommend Micron Sigma pens for use in Vela notebooks, a low-cost, reliable, pen with minimal bleedthrough.
